mondays moments

today was rather a odd day. first we cleaned house, then took hubbys car into the shop as the ac wasn't blowing cold air. then while we were waiting for that to be done went over to his parents house. hubby and fil went outside leaving me inside with mil. now normaly i have no problem with mil, but today she was just plain grouchy and mean. when we got there their house was like a oven, so hot i could not even breath in it so the first thing i did was open the door as it was much cooler outside.she objects to that, i told her ma i have to either have them door open or i am going outside to sit with the guys. she got all upset and said sure just abandon me, is so sad to see her slipping away to nothing. i keep telling his dad and so does hubby she needs to be evaluted for alzheimers as i think she has it. then she decided to nag me about my yarns and crocheting. i decided to ignore her lol, then hubby and fil came in and shortly after the guy from the shop called and said car was done woooohoooo!!!!, so we went down to pick the car up and i drove it home while hubby followed me in his truck, i made it home without a problem but he got stuck in traffic and took forever. after he got home we decided to go out to dinner. we went to a place called harmons. is a reasteraunt and brew pub. they had advertised 3.00 steak dinners and now while i expected them to be small, i also expected them to be big enough for dinner and now juse appitizers LOL, which is all they were. they served them with cheese fries which were very good , and like i said the steak was very tasty, but not enough to fill me up, let alone my 6'4" hubby. hehehe' so he had leftovers from last night and i had ice cream. LOL. tomorrow we are thinking about going to the beach, but not sure if we can afford to stay there. is over 150.00 a night. ouchy so if we do stay, probably won;t stay more than a day or so. as i don't have that kind of money for sure. last night no raccoons. was so happy. darn things. i did call animal control, they said there is nothing they can do about it. they don't make housecalls anymore and if i want to trap the darn things is my responsibility. made me so mad. need to take the kittys in and update their shots, but with 3 kittys that is also going to put a huge dent in my budget. oh well is only money right?!!!!!.
on the other hand i did finish 2 more shawls and also have another one almost dond. made 2 pinkish ones and am working on a black and gray and white shawl. is so pretty. will show you pics when i get them all done. till tomorrow huggggggggggggs
