what a day

today was a horrible day, it started this morning with the doorbell ringing at 6:30 this morning. mind you i didn't go to bed until 2 as after all is vacation right?well anyways is a company the gas company hired to replace the gas line which was leaking last month. i asked him why we didn't have any notice and he said normaly we would have had at least 24, if not 48 hours but since this was a emergency and he ahd just gotten the orders on his desk this morning, he didn't have time to call and let us know. hmmmm, i said wow i wonder why they thought it was a emergency, he said well since you have had a gas leak, that makes it a emergency, i looked at him and said well ya know when this all happened? he is like umm first of the week, i said try 1st of july......... he says wow thats slow even for them lol. so i said well whatever ya got to do go ahead. so hubby has decided to fix our leaky kitchen sink, that started leaking last night as i was fixing dinner. well needless to say a quick 30 to 45 minute job(thats what they told me at the hardware store) took over 9 hours to finish. and omg was hubby tired of it all, anything and everything that could go wrong, did. i decided to fix us all a nice dinner as neither he or i had had anything to eat all day and it was now almost 7 p.m, so i made grilled chicken in lime and garlic juice(is a lowrys marinade) so very good, then i also fixed corn on the cob, and onion and garlic potatoes with the skins on. was verrrry good and everyone had seconds except me, i was to stuffed from the first course lol. also today fil called and wanted me to come over and watch mil , told him no i would do it on monday as i have to go to the dentist, and figured that would be a good way to use it all up.and of course he got mad about me not coming when he demanded it, i told him point blank, not going to happen. i am so stressed about them. neither one of them makes any effort to make it easier for me. fil bitches all the time about how i could be cleaning his house ect. told him clean your own damn house. sheeeeeshhhh lol. so now he is pissed at me and mil is mad also, and ya know what i don't care. is my vacation too and am not going to spend it sitting in their house where they keep it a balmy 90 degrees all the time. no thanks if i want 90, i can sit out i the sun cause that is what it has been the last 2 days. anyways to make a very long story more bearable i am so glad this day is over. finit done over thank goodness LOL i hope tomorrow is better. i need a vacation from my vacation, hubby and i were going to go to the beach and spend a day or so but so far hasn't happened, am hoping it will lol till tomorrow then huggggggggggggggggs
