well today was day 8 counting weekends. day 5 otherwise, and so far we have done very little in the way of enjoyment. today he worked out in the yard all day and i cleaned house *gasp* i know i know i hate cleaning house. but must be done, got caught up on my laundry as it was fairly cool today compared to the last few days anyways and is suppose to be getting hotter again. oh joy!!!! i was able to finish 4 of the comfortghans blocks i am making for yarnlover66 as she has been dealt a horrible tragedy, you can read about it here
http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11453 it makes me so damn mad when i hear about drunks who do this to people. it is so wrong, and although i don't think by banning alcohol(didn't work during prohibition) would necesarly be the thing to do, i do think that there needs to be something done about these killers, and yes many might think that is a strong word, but thats what they are, they are no better than someone who shoots or stabs their victims. i am sorry if i offend anyone, but i have lost so many people i know and love including family members to drunk drivers. i myself do not drink, my hubby does enjoy a beer or 2, but when he drinks he don't drive period. is not even a issue with him he knows if he has been drinking, even if he started out driving to just call me i will pick him up or he can catch a cab or whatever. my dd lost her best friend to a drunk teenage driver 3 weeks before graduation, she still isn't over it.sorry is such a issue with me i know but is how i feel, i know many others also have lost their love ones and friends and i hope that the people who do this crime(again i feel it is murder) that they have to pay, the way the law is set up now, you can beat a dui if ya have enough money to hire a attorney. is WRONG. well am stepping off my soap box and going back to make some more squares for teresa's family, and while it is her ex's she is still close to them . i hope that they will be able to survive this tragedy. thanks for reading and listening. teresa, if ya are reading this darling, you know your in my prayers and am sending hugs to comfort ya. love ya girl, hugsss to all of the rest of ya.
