saturdays fun

today, hubby and i went to the tacoma dome to the holiday gift festival, something we have been trying to manage to make it to for over 5 years at least. well i can tell you, it was not worth the 21 dollars it cost me to park and admission. i saw a lot of nice things, but i saw the same thing over and over again. must have had at least 10 different people selling jewlery alone, i saw some awesome beaded italian shawls, they were not priced real hugh,only 65.00. which considering all the time that went it to it was wonderfully low. but alas i have not 65.00 nor would i have any place to wear it. my getting "dressed up" consists of me wearing my cords and a long sleeve top. , but it was nice, i saw a few handmade knitted and crocheted hats, some awesome felted ones, which i explained to my hubby how it was done, he says why don't you make one, those are cute, i then told him they were made out of wool, so he said that he could see why i could not make them as i am highly allergic to wool, break out and swell up. not a pretty site lol all in all, if i knew then what i know now , would probably not gone as it was really not worth the price of admission and parking. but at least now i can say i went to it . but we had fun anyways, is nice just the 2 of us getting out and about. we try and have a "date" afternoon or evening , every week. maybe thats why we have been married for over 26 years and together over 33. i think it is important to have fun and not all work. well on that note i will say goodnight hugggs to you all
