does anyone have any special plans to do anything wonderful for the holidays this year. we will do the usual thing with thanksgiving starting it out, will watch the macy parade as always cook a nice dinner(and no it will not be turkey) and most likely son will cook, he has become quite the chef now days. if he ever decides to not be a teacher he would have a career in being a chef, like me he enjoys cooking and baking, i know that sounds odd a youngman wanting to make thanksgiving dinner, but he has done the majority of it for almost 5 years now. then will watch movie together with the family, this year is going to be a bit harder as this will be the first time that my mil has been here since last year, as many of you know she lost her leg in may of this year and has been hiding out ever since, but with thanksgiving in just a few weeks she is going to have to break out of her depression and come visit, it is so sad that it came to her losing her leg, but she also needs to know there are worse things. but thats another story altogether., after thanksgiving is over i start my baking, i normally make about 15 different kinds of cookies although this year am going to cute back a little bit,. i have so much to do and no time and especially no energy LOL. we put our tree up about the 2nd week in december so we can enjoy the tree for the holiday season. this year i hope that my mom makes it to christmas, she has not been feeling very well, even worse than when i saw her so it is going to be stressful for the family. i want to thank all of you my friends who have been there for me during this time. we can only hope and pray that mom does better enough to get through the holidays. so now i have a question for you all, what do you do for the holidays, do you celebrate the christmas season or hannakua(sp), or any other holiday , i know there are many thing and many tradtions in this world and i would enjoy hearing from you about what you and your family does. well tomorrow is coming soon and i just heard on the news we are under storm warning, high winds and alot of rain. not a good combination as most of the trees here still have most of their leaves. we ourselves have lost 7 trees ti high winds so am off to get to bed before we lose power. so would love to hear your holiday traditions till tomorrow my friends hugggggs
