what a day

hi , today was so tiring for me, i will be so glad when my wonderful mil comes home and its going to be very soon. she is not getting the care she needs at that rehab center and we are going to take her out either tomorrow or wendsday, need to get the wheelchair for her first. tonight they almost let her fall when they took her to the bathroom. is a sad thing when you send someone you love to a place to recover and they get worse instead of better. which is what is happening with mil. i have been working on a really pretty doily in my own design. i am thinking about writing some of these patterns up and submit them for publication. i think some of them are winners. also am making some more little animals to give to the police and fire departments. these ones went over well and they asked if i could make a few more. ummm i was wondering officer, how much is a "little more"? LOL, they told me that the children just love them, and it warms my heart to know that i could bring comfort to someone who was in need. the bad thing is when i work on these animals i get NOTHING else done. not housework, not laundry, not cooking , or even crocheting my other projects. i just keep getting ideas and then have to make the animals. i am so nuts about making these little buggers. any ideas of any other animals, so far have made several teddy bears, a duck, 2 elephants, a frog, and right now am making another teddy bear, she is PINK, hubby says how do you make a pink teddy bear. told him teddy bears have no color barriers LOL,well anyways am off to work on this bear as i want to finish him either tonight or early tomorrow. so to all my friends i say good night and hugs. talk with you all tomorrow. at least today it was sunshining, is suppose to get up to about 80 this week., i can only say, ITS ABOUT DARN TIME!!!!!!! been waiting for sun and warm temps. we have had such a horrible spring, maybe we are going to have a hot summer, which s fine by me LOL anyways again goodnight to you all and HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGS

can't wait for my new thread

hi i have to tell you i am getting so excited. my friends anne, tandy, and i are ordering from jackie on crochetville(she lives in the phillipians) and they have the most wonderful thread there, well anyways we all went in on a order and bought some thread. not just any thread, but the most wonderful colors i have ever seen and only 75cents american per ball. how cool is that. i have some ideas already for the thread, and i told tandy to just suprise me cause i can't choose. but i am getting a slug load of thread. hubby is going to kill me LOL oh well at least i will die happy LOL am getting something like 26 balls or something like that. OMG i can't wait LOL, i will keep you posted as i am so excited i will be waiting and waiting and waiting hehehehe, hope she ships fast. take care and everyone have a wonderful weekend. hugs

moms update

hi thought i would give you a update on how mama is doing. she is much better since i found out the moron people at the rehab center had her so drugged she couldn't see straight. made me sooooooooooo mad, today i confronted them about it and they said a doctor said that was what she needed, i said to hell with him, he don't know her, the one thing she doesn't need is more meds. on the other hand she is doing better with her therapy. today they had her up on the paralle bars, and she was actually able to stand whoooooohooooooooooo!!!!!!! also we are doing alright about our friend. his service was yesterday and was a very stressful day, the weather all day was horrible, rain, wind and thunder and lightening, but the oddest thing was, at the time of larrys service, the sun came out, the wind died down. and it was like god was shining down on him and all of us, so it made it a little easier to bear. i want to thank all of you who have been here for me. you guys ROCK!!!! will keep you updated and just wanted to thank you again. love ya all,HUGS

i need a hug

hi guys today i am feeling a bit teary eyed. last saturday my hubbys best friend died, we don't know what happened but that he was in ICU in the hospital. today as i read his obiturary that his family put in the paper, i cried again cause they listed hubby and myself as best friends and survivors of him. he was a special person , one we cared deeply about. he was out best man at our wedding as hubby was his too. so its going to be a sad day come thursday when they bury him. also as some of you know, my mil is in a rehab center, she isn't doing very good and can use some hugs and prayers too. i need a vacation. hmmmm hawaii sounds good LOL. take are and keep your chin up like i am. things can only get better right? hugs

just wanted to say thank you to the people in my life who i can really count to be my friends. i don't know if i am coming back to crochetville or not. i think the whole thing is so stupid, i don't know what these morons problems are, but for some reason, i became their scape goat. and for someone to tell me how she don't like a person to tell me one thing, run back and tell someone else that i am bad talking her, so was she belive me and i didn't deny it like her, i was pissed. we had made a swap and she was welching on the deal, never will i swap with anyone again. it taught me a valuable lesson that i have never had to deal with. i hate frauds and this person who slams me in her blog, she knows it too. i made no bones about how i felt about this other person, but YOU , you know exactly what i am saying. but whatever, i don't need any of you in my life. don't bother to respond i will delete you too. you guys are welcome to each other. you say grow up, i am not trying to make you choose, you are so wrong, i couldn't care less if you talk with everyone. i use to too, but found that people are a bunch of assholes, you included.i was not trying to make you choose me, and it certainly wasn't me being your friend first,i don't care about that at all. we can all have lots of friends. but i tell ya something. choose them wisely, i screwed up when i chose those people and i won't ever speak to them again. i don't need you guys, you are so immature it isn't even funny, its not a freaking compatition. friends are suppose to be there for you. YOU GUYS are no friends, to put it bluntly, with friends like you, who the hell needs enemys.
fot the rest of you guys who ARE my friends. i don't know if i will be back or not, it makes me feel so glad to know i do have good friends. i guess there is always a few rotten apples. so what i am going to do is take a breather away from the forum, i need some time to figure out what to do. sometimes i want to come back other times i don't i don't want any more stress. so will just ease up for a while, but i want to tell all of you who pm'd me and also who posted. i am crying

today was one of the worst days of my life, my wonderful mil who i love dearly had to have her leg amputated above the knee. i can only pray that god will give her the strenchth she needs. she is in terrible pain, and while the docs and snurses are giving pain medicine to her. she is still in agony. please pray for her or send positive thoughts her way. thanks sooo much hugss to you all

terrible news

i have some terrible news, my mil is most likely going to lose her leg, anyone reading this if you pray, please pray for her, her name is jackie. doc says foot is dying. so not fair, she has been through so much. we need a miracle here . today went and sat with her while fil went shopping. sometimes i wish hubby had brothers and sisters, cause i am so tired, but will help all that i can do.my class last night was awesome, 2 students which made it so nice and cozy. we had a good time, took a bit longer that the 2 hours as the one student was having problems, but i got her straightened out. LOL she was up and running very soon. well maybe tomorrows meeting with doc will give us GOOD news for a change. today when i was there, realized her sox was on so tight was cutting the cirulation off.when i took it off her foot seemed to get a bit better. so we keep our fingers crossed. till tomorrow then hugs

tuesdays day

hi today i cleaned house, then went to work tonight. had 3 students and made a little money whoooohooooo!!!! was a pretty nice day, did a little crocheting too, finished anouther couple of animals which i will post tomorrow. then started another one and am working on it. hubbys friend is doing a little better. thanks for the prayers. till tomorrow, hugs

today was a looooonnnnng day, first took my car in for service, got hit on by this creepy guy, says hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, i'm like hello, he says i'm brad whats your name, i say i'm married
he was like oh hell LOL
omg i laughed so hard here me almost 50 years old i laughed till i cried was so hilarious LOL.
also today went back to the hospital to see hubbys friend, but he was sleeping. so we didn't disturb him. he needs lots of rest, is doing a little better, but still not out of the woods yet, and still needs your prayers. thanks for all the ones you have sent his way, he needs them all. it poured rain today, was a icky cloudy nasty day until this afternoon.then it got nice. tomorrow is suppose to be nice. wish i could work out in the garden, but thats not for me anymore. just piddling around with some pots. i did buy some geraniums today whooohoooo. till tomorrow. hugs
