saturday

hi , wasn't able to post yesterday as we had a emergency and spent most of the day and night at the hospital, hubbys best friend since grade school, is in critical condition, if any of yu reading this want to please pray for him, his name is larry. he is in really bad shape and they are giving him about a 40% chance.of survival at his time. but 40% is better than nothing. so all we can do is pray.
today cleaned house with my sons help. daughter is sicker than heck, has bronchitis, please pray for her too.
did a little crocheting today too, am making little animals to give to the police and fire departments. i think the little ones who suffer so much trauma, need a lovey. so far have made 2 bears and a little kitty. they turned out good
will post pictures as soon as i can. sorry guys who were waiting. will do it either tonight or tomorrow. bbq'd steak tonight . with fried cubed potatoes, corn on the cob and garlic bread. was goood. well until tomorrow, am headed to bed now.LOL

hi, today was another nice warm day. worked outside for a tiny but but had to stop because of my back hurting. thats the hard part of my days. but i deal with it.i also spent part of the day chatting with my friends on crochetville. they are awesome!!!!!!i was able to talk with karen in england and also kimberly in belgium,and my friends tandy who lives in washington state along with me!!!!! the web is a awesome place!!!! baked some cinnamon rolls today and also grilled chicken, and made homemade french fries, and salad for dinner. was pretty good. also baked some italian herb bread, hubbys favorite bread.!!!!!!!can you tell i like to cook and bake!!!LOL well until tomorrow. hugs my friends

hi how ya all today, its a nice bright sunny warm day out today. about time i say!!!!i so can't wait for spring to warm up, already told the family for mothers day, i want plants. and lots of them. i enjoy my gardening as much as i can now. isn't wuite the same, but hubby was so sweet and made container gardens for me, so now am able to play in the dirt to my litte hearts content.
last night i finished 2 12 inch squares i m doing for amber on the forum for a girl she knows. that just lost her mom to breast cancer. figured i could whip some out for her. seem to go by pretty easy too, so will make some more before sending them off. well until later. hugs

mondays musings

today was a nice quiet day. worked around the house and crocheted. almost done with my bear for work, he is cute will post when i get him finished. enjoyed talking with friends on crochetville also. we sure have a good time.
as far as gardening, didn't get a chance but am hoping to tomorrow,. just thought i would post and say hello. sending my raoks off tomorrow. i hope the 2 people who are going to get them like them. hehehe,well till tomorrow. hugs

sleepy sunday

hi, hope you all had a great weekend. i enjoyed tonight talking with friends on crochetville. i am off to crochet on my teddy bear for work, he is going to be sooooo cute, will post pictures as soon as i get him done. the picture below is of my kitty boo who was stolen right out of my backyard right after the car accident, 5 years ago. i still miss him terribly.
today was nice and sunny and warm, and i was so tired from yesterday i slept all most all day, so of course tonight am not tired. LOL, suppose to be warm and sunny all week, which is awesome cause i want to get outside and maybe work with my flowers a bit. need to plant some seeds for my herbs too, hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow. take care hugs

new students

woooohoooo, i am excited. signed up 2 people today for my class. one for the doily class and one for the kids camp. which is going to be a blast. was so cute watching the little girls face when her mom told her she could come to camp at joanns. she was like ohhhhh mommmmmy thank you. was cute.and have 4 or 5 others who are interested in the shawl, so will wait and see, just wanted to share with you all:)

i am finally cleared

today got a letter from the attorney generals office. i had turned the whole mess in to them as i was tired of messing with these jerks. took 6 months of telling them they had the wrong person. so finally said to hell with it, filed a complaint,and 2 weeks later, its suppose to be cleared up. so i am glad, just a warning for you all, check your credit reports and check them often. if this collection agency hadn't tracked me down,(which i was upset at first, but glad about later) i wouldn't have ever known about it. and then when i would have wanted to get credit, i wouldn't have been able to because of this problem. my credit history is suppose to be changed back to perfect as thats what it was. so check them my friends.you will be glad to do it, also i found out i can stop people from accesing my credit report and by putting a fraud alert on it, i am able to stop people from trying to illegaly open credit in my name. i am soooooooo happy tonight

its friday !!!!!

today is friday and i am so glad. i have been busy working on another roak for a different person who i think needs a pick me up, last night i finished the main part and then today or tonight i will border it. is pretty blue and varigated rose color.she will like it i hope and when i get it sent will post both of the pictures of these 2 raoks.
tomorrow i have to work, its meet the teacher day at joann fabrics where i am suppose to be teaching crochet. so far have only had 1 class, and that was 3 people. i am beginning to get discouraged. by boss says give it time, but i need some money now!!! son is starting grad school in july and says he is going to need another "loan", which is what it will be, i am always glad to help my kids when they need it, but they have to pay me back cause we don't have any "extra" money. with my back bad now, can't really hold a steady job, and that is making it difficult. but we will be fine. we have each other and thats what counts.
also today i am going to be going over to mil's house. when i took her to the doctor on wendsday, he said she can't be left alone, so i need to go and visit with her while fil goes and does a few chores, like grocery shopping and bill paying,LOL maybe can post later, for now, have a wonderful weekend hugs

hi all, i am so mad, i just found out that paul mccartney is coming to seattle, and i want to go sooooooo bad, its not possible though, as #1, th tickets are way to expensive(50.00 for nosebleed seats) and also because i just can't sit that long, i am sad, i love him , he is awesome,





, oh well such is life, hubby told kids if they wanted to go and if they wanted to buy their own ticket


that he would drive up there and pay for parking, which in seattle is a mjor concession, as the cheapest parking is usually around 10.00 for 3 or 4 hours. which is one of the reasons we don't go to seattle hehehe

on a different note, i was wondering what you guys are up to lately, i live to hear your adventures. let me know what interesting things you guys have been doing, cause my life is BORING!!!!LOL happy thursday hugs

wensday's wonders!!!!

hi today was a usual wendsnday, a nice sunny day. did i get a chance to go out and work in my flowers? no of course not. had to be a taxi driver today for mil. oh joy, but at least i know she made it to the doctor alright. he says she is doing better. which is a good sign.
i need to go out and work outside though, my poor flowers are soooo sad, they need someone, ME!!!here is a few pictures of my flowers from last year. i need to goand get some for this year; the one thing i love besides crochet is gardening. my cats were so funny today. kept nose kissing, which is unbelieveable as they hate each other!!!LOL, till later. hugs

i have new cell phones!!!

today daughter and i went shopping for new cell phones for the family, i have been looking for quite a while, and had decided to go with verizon as they have a god family plan. looked at the different ones and found some which didn't break my bank account', and found 4 that i bought. they are so awesome, have everything in them, camera's text and picture messengers, voice command, EVERYTHING!!! i am soooo excited, now my dear darling daughter who today said mommys the best, has no excuse to not call me or text message me, (which was one of the reasons i bought new ones LOL) can't say oh my phone didn't ring LOL. will post pictures i take with my new "camera" soon hugs vicki

tuesday morning

hi everyone, i feel much better today. finally got some sleep, and today is beautiful out. sunshine and blue sky. my kind of day. today we (daughter and i) are going to get new cell phones, which was one of the reasons she gave for being late, her phone didn't work. so will make sure she has one that does. also am going to have a little mother daughter afternoon, and try and talk with her to make her understand.. i hope so, cause i sure can't go through that again.

i saw on the news we have a new pope. glory be to god, i hope he can do as good as a job as john paul, he was a wonderful pope. we needed a new leader though so am glad they chose one so soon.

on a different note, my flowers are so pretty this year. the tulips and daffodils are just beautiful, made all that hard work last fall well worth it. here is some pictures of them, well until later, hope you all have a wonderful day

i need to gripe

hi, this is a major gripe fest. last night i almost went crazy with worry, my dd who is 21 but lives here at home with her dad and brother and myself, decided she wanted to go out. which is fine, i have no problem with that.but last night she didn't come home, for the longest time. i had talked to her and she said she was headed home about 10:30, well i waited and no daughter, 11:00 came, no daughter, 11:30, i call her, no answer, now i am beginning to worry, 12:00 same thing, been calling her every 5 minutes. i had to get my hubby up, told him she hadn't come home, so now we are both worried.12:30 rolls around, still no daughter, and again can't reach her by phone,(what the hell did i buy the cell phones for?) i am now frantic cause it is 2 hours after she told me she would be leaving to come home, am thinking all kinds of horrible things, particulary since she isn't in what i would call a good neighborhood., i am now telling hubby, something is seriously wrong,she has never done this, ever. i have the addy, cause the boy called here and me being mrs. brainace thought hey maybe its in the book(which it was), so tell hubby, going to try one more time, if i don't get her, you go look for her, because the police will do nothing for 24 hours. i call her, AND GET HER> oh thank god for this, i am about having a nervous breakdown.i ask her where she is, says at chris's, tell her she needs to come home(am trying to be calm here) she says in a few, hubby takes the phone, says you get home NOW. she is like O.K? i am now on my knees thanking god she is safe. when she got home she tells us she was playing guitar, and lost track of time, said her phone didn't work bla bla bla.OMG i can't take this. hubby took her car keys away and told her to sit, we need to talk. she was all defiant, but i had to make her understand that she can't do this. finally after 3 hours and is now after 4:30 a.m,hubby needs to get up in half hour. we finally talk and make her understand (PLEASE GOD) , .so today i am grumpy, grouchy and sleep deprived, why does this happen? what am i doing wrong,. thanks for listening(reading) i just needed to vent. i am so stressed my hands are shaking. i hope she can learn from this. i hope so very badly, otherwise i don't know how we are going to be able to continue to have her live here. thanks friends for listening.

what a weekend

hello everyone, its now sunday, didn't get to post yesterday as the site seemed to be down. ahhh well its fixed now :) i had a great weekend. yesterday hubby and i went out to some friends house, we enjoyed watching a movie with them, shanghi knights, is such a cute show. and then came home and crocheted. before we went i made a nice dinner. we had bbq porkchops, ovfen roasted potatoes, fresh corn on the bob, and homemade bread with garlic butter. is soooo good, i love baking rbead, and italian herb is one of my favorites to make. i pretty much bake every day., Then this morning, my son suprised me by making brunch for us all. he is a good cook, course he learned everything he knows from me LOL hehehehe, just kidding. i sure do love to cook though. later i am going to put some of my favorite recipies on here. if anyone has a request for anything leave me a message. i have been cooking since i was 7 and thats a long time hehehehehehe
its still raining here, i know we should be use to it living in the great pacific northwest, but i have to tell you,. I HATE RAIN!!!!!! probably should move someplace sunny, but family is here so here we stay.

last night daughter went to the slipknot concert(eeeeeeek) but she had a good time, went to it with her boyfriend jeremy, who is a firefighter. i felt pretty secure with her being with him. she had a blast though so i am happy about that.am also going to try and get some pictures in here and my good friend anne(cajunwhacko) has been helping me, and for that i thank you anne very very much. well i hope ya all have a great day. am off to work on my special raok i am making, is almost done hehehehe, then shall be sending it on its way, when the person i am amking it for gets it then i will tell ya all what it is, cause don't want to spoil the suprise LOL hugs to you all vicki

today i was so happy to see the ups guy, he brought me my red and blue lurex i won on e-by. OMG, that thread is awesome. i am waiting for it to speak to me and tell me what it wants to become .ROTFL. hehehe, made my day

i am soooo excited

Today in the mail i got the most wonderful suprise, was having kind of a bad day and the ups guy comes and knocks on the door, so i answer it and he goes there ya go mam, i mean this is from a fresh faced young man, made me feel soooooooo old, anyways so i took the package in the house and opened it, inside was my red and blue lurex i had won off of e-bay. wooohoooo, is pretty,pretty,pretty, now i need to let it speak to me and tell me what it wants me to make with it :). thought i would share. more later. hugs

Thought the day would never get here. been a lonnnnnnnnnng week, i think tonight i am just going to sit and veg. maybe tomorrow go somewhere with hubby, is nice with the kids beinf grown to not have to haul them around. kristy(daughter) is going to her concert and my son has to work, so its dad and me. wooooohooooo!!!!!

Have been working on a special RAOK i want to send someone, is taking me forever, but know once it is done i will be so glad. is pretty too, but won't say more in case the recipeant is reading this :-)!!!

I did it again, was a baddddd baddd girl last night. bought the most wonderful yarns. i so can not wait to get them,. *sigh*,

Today is sucky out, rainy and cold, typical pacific northwest spring day, i have been getting so spoiled i think this last winter. it was a really dry and fairly warm one.now the rain has returned. some might say, well doesn't it always rain there as we are known as the rain capital of the U.S., but suprising enough, it isn't usually this bad, day after day, yesterday was the exception, and then last night it did rain. oh well, making my lawn green, which hubby is going to fertilize this weekend just so he can watch son moan and grown about having to cut it hehehehehe.

Well more later, i am still new at this blog thing so if any of you have any suggestions to make about what i should put in here. please feel free to tell me, as i don't want this to be boring, and right now i know it is. but i will improve with practice LOL hehehehehehe. my first day as a blogger!!!

Today was interesting. I finally got brave enough to set this blog up. After i finished i had to go get my daughter a tax form. we were suppose to work on her t-shirt she is making for a upcoming concert she is going to saturday.i am not to thrilled as it is slipknot(gasp), but she is 21 and can make up her own mind about music!!LOL
I worked on some crochet projects for my upcoming classes in may. Needed to finish those so i can do what i want to for a while. It is the cutest little purse for a child to make. I Will post a picture soon.
Also yesterday i got the most wonderful present. i had ordered some yarn off of e-bay, and the lady who sold it to me, also sent me a wonderfully huge cone of yarn.. i am waiting for the yarn to speak to me LOL, is so nice too, she is a sweetie.
Today was cold but nice most of the time. Makes me want to put some flower seeds in, but still to cold at night. froze the last couple of nights.
Well i think this is going to be a fun thing to do. anyone who wants to put their blog on my list let me know. i will do the same with you guys. Until tomorrow then. HUGS vicki
